NO ELECTION 2022
The deadline for submitting applicants for the annual election was March 11, 2022. At that time there were only two volunteers for the Board. Because there were only two volunteers for the Board we are not able to hold an annual election.
Section 11 of the Bylaws state in part that, "Two-thirds (2/3rds) of the board shall constitute a quorum ..."). Since we currently have five authorized Directors, then a quorum is 2/3 X 5 = 3.33 Directors, or four directors. The Corporations Code states that a majority of Directors is a quorum so the Association needs at least four people to serve as Directors in order to hold an election.
Please consider running for the Board next year if you have the time to help guide the Association
The Board of Directors is having the Photo Contest again this year.
The guidlines have been altered to include any pictures (barring non-family oriented). They do not have to be of Alpine Forest. Hopefully, this will boost participation at the Annual Picnic. To read the new rules, please see guidelines and entry form at this link.

The State of California mandates recycling Recycle Mandate. In order to comply with this mandate, all Alpine Forest Park members must recycle. Please consider taking recyclables to Waste Management to help keep the cost of trash in AFPPOA down.
